Avant is a young enterprise company from Hampton School near London, UK. Avant is part of the Richmond and Kingston division of Young Enterprise, Young Enterprise is a registered charity The company is small but determined to provide good quality innovations to the public. Such innovations at present include a clock, made from a CD or a Vinyl Record. The "Disc O'Clock" will give a retro but at the same time modern feel to time. Check back for any updates from Avant! Hampton School is one of the best schools in the independant education sector. It is for boys aged 11-19. In league tables it is always near the top. Despite being an academic school it also encourages it's students to take part in many extra-curricular activities such as Music, Drama, Sport, Duke Of Edinburgh Award scheme and Young Enterprise. Hampton School was founded over 450 years ago and it still continues to achieve great academic success with 27 Oxbridge offers this year. It also boasts prowess through sport in Rowing, Rugby and Football. This year it has just secured places in the Independant Schools Football Association Cup final (ISFA) and the Daily Mail Vase for Rugby. This year it also achieved a very respectable 5th place at the Schools Head in Rowing. Hampton School has had great successess with Young Enterprise in the past and hopes to continue these efforts in the future with Avant. Young Enterprise is a charitable organisation that aims to give young people a taste of business in the outside world. Each year Hampton School plays host to two Young Enterprise Companies. This year, as well as Avant, the Young Enterprise company Teknisk (Swedish for Technical) is being hosted. Avant and Hampton School are both extremely dedicated to the environment. Hampton School operates a carbon off-setting scheme whilst Avant uses paper as little as possible, prefering to use email, and recycles wherever possible. This includes the Vinyl editions of Disc O'Clock, so not only can you buy a fantastic looking clock, it's eco friendly too! Hampton School is in London UK.
